How It Works

MR-VFR combines advanced aviation technologies into a streamlined flight support experience, integrating modern Augmented Reality (AR), high-precision Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS), synthetic vision rendering, and advanced map projection technology to enhance real-time situational awareness and provide clear visualizations of terrain, airspace, and aircraft orientation within an immersive, performance-focused interface designed for today’s pilots.

The Problem

Spacial Disorientation and 178 Seconds to live

Spatial disorientation is the inability to accurately perceive an aircraft's position, attitude, or motion relative to the Earth, often caused by the brain receiving conflicting signals from visual, vestibular (inner ear), and sensory systems. It commonly occurs in poor visibility (clouds, darkness), leading to dangerous illusions,  The video "'178 Seconds to live' - Updated" highlights the problem perfectly, and illustrates the need for our product. The video "Spatial Disorientation Explained: Deadly Flight Illusions Every Pilot Must Know" explains the problem further, as it has a great way of defining it.
